Craving for healthy chocolate dessert? Try making the Moringa Mint Chocolate Melts and pamper yourself with this guilt-free dessert! It’s pretty and too easy to make!

Ingredients:

Chocolate layer:

  • 1/4 cup of cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup of coconut oil
  • Half a teaspoon of maple syrup or honey

Alternative to the chocolate layer:

  • 4 dates or figs
  • 1/2 cup of nuts of your choice( We used walnuts and hazelnuts)
  • Half a teaspoon of maple syrup or honey

Filling layer:

  • Half a cup of Almond milk or soy milk
  • 1 cup of cashews which has been soaked for half an hour
  • 1/4 cup of shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup of coconut oil
  • 2 dates
  • Handful of mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of Moringa.sg Leaf powder


Directions:

  1. For the chocolate layer, mix the melted coconut oil, cacao powder and maple syrup or honey. Pour half of this mixture in a mold and freeze until harden.
  2. For the alternative to the chocolate layer, blend the dates or figs with the nuts with maple syrup or honey. Pour half of this mixture into a mold and freeze until harden.
  3. For the filling layer, blend the almond or soy milk, cashews, shredded coconut, coconut oil, dates and mint leaves until smooth. Add Moringa.sg Leaf Powder to the mixture and mix well.
  4. Pour this “filling layer” mixture into a mold and let it freeze for an hour.
  5. Finish pouring the rest of the chocolate into the mold and then freeze until harden. Eat your hearts out (literally)!
